A few series of posts have appeared on my blog and more will appear. I consider them an excellent strategy for addressing complex, long topics that could not be satisfied in a single post. With a series the blogger is able to delve deeper into a topic and carry it forward for a few weeks. I advise against abusing this technique for three reasons: a series of posts takes time to write; publishing a post every day that belongs to a different series causes confusion among readers; readers will have difficulty following and assimilating too many series at once. How to write a series of posts A series of articles must be planned and designed.
It is not exactly a very long article to be divided into several parts, but a series of topics closely linked to a specific theme. Choice of topic : this is the starting point. Choose a topic that can be covered in depth and on which you obviously have expertise. The theme must allow us to write a lot, because a Phone Number Data eries of posts requires a few thousand words. Series title : Our series needs a title that identifies the topic and leaves no doubt in the reader. Objectives and audience : defining the objective of the series of articles helps the blogger to understand in which direction to proceed and at what level to write the posts. Just as it will be useful to understand which audience the series of posts will be aimed at, to obtain greater consensus.
Lineup : when I wrote the series on how to write the contents of a site, I prepared a list of topics related to that theme, evaluating them and discarding those that I did not consider valid. The schedule helps us understand how many posts we should write. Post : the articles defined in the lineup will be written according to guidelines and each will have an effective title. In the title I also repeated that of the series, to give greater emphasis and make that post recognizable to the reader. Scheme : for each article I adopt a scheme, i.e. a sort of model , which serves me both as a guideline to write faster and to give homogeneity and also recognizability to the posts. Links between posts : in the latest series I have published I have linked to previous posts, in order to orient the reader and also give greater strength to the posts already published. In this way each article in the series is linked to the other.
